🌿 Recommendation During sauna rituals, the master traditionally uses an even number of whisks. For effective whisking, we recommend purchasing an even quantity.

Maple whisks are distinguished by their large, soft leaves, which release a gentle, aromatic scent in the sauna. They can be used for whisking and as natural 'fans' to distribute steam. The exceptional comfort provided by maple leaves makes this a popular choice for those seeking a milder, smoothing sauna experience.

It is not recommended to keep the whisks soaked in water for long periods of time. The leaves should be kept moist, elastic and light during all bathing session.

Storage conditions

Storage for a longer period of time: Remove the packing film from the box, if present.

Store in a cardboard box: in a dry, well-ventilated but unheated room, out of direct sunlight. For example, in a garage, outside storage room, etc. The aim is to prevent the whisks from drying out or shattering (then molding).

To make the whisks ventilate better, you can make a few holes in the carboard for better ventilation.

How it should be used?

Whisking with whisks is a traditional sauna practice in which the body is warmed and massaged with specially prepared whisks. This can be done either on yourself or on another person.

Self-whisking – usually gentler, more for warming up and enjoying the scents.

Whisking others – can be more intense, with massage elements, requiring more technique and strength.

Here are some ideas of how it's done:

Gently slap the pre-moistened whisk from head to toe, including the sides and arms – from the shoulders to palms; With each stroke of the whisk, the bath master blows hot air onto the body;
The movements with the whisk are performed lightly and rhythmically.
